About
In continuing Minnesota’s proud history of supporting our nation’s military, the Farmington Yellow Ribbon Network (formerly known as the “Warrior to Citizen Campaign”) is a diverse group of local citizens dedicated to engaging the community with organizing military family support, community education, and recognizing military service members and their families.
Former Governor Tim Pawlenty issued a directive to the State of Minnesota Deployment Support Offices of the Minnesota Army National Guard to ensure ongoing support for service members and their families across all military branches throughout the state.
The Farmington Yellow Ribbon Network (formerly known as the “Warrior to Citizen Campaign”), with the Farmington community leading the way, has helped to fulfill this directive at the community level by reaching deeper into neighborhoods and communities to ensure our military service members and their families are not alone. Farmington is the very first Yellow Ribbon entity ANYWHERE. Many are following your lead.
Support for our military is before, during, and after a deployment, in fact, anytime throughout their service to our country. Our community has the capacity to work together to honor and recognize our veterans. The Farmington Yellow Ribbon Network is leading Farmington to continue being the kind of community that visibly supports and demonstrates pride in what our military members, and their families, have sacrificed for all of us.<br>The Farmington Yellow Ribbon Network meets the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Farmington City Hall.
New members are always welcome.
